Dr. Jayant Jagadeesh Bhargav

Dr Jayant completed his MD in Radiation Oncology, in 2015, from the prestigious Christian Medical College (CMC), Vellore, an institution known for its strong clinical and academic foundation. He also completed his DMRT from the renowned Kidwai Memorial Institute of Oncology, Bangalore. He later pursued an MSc in Translational Oncology from the distinguished Trinity College, Dublin, further broadening his understanding of cancer research and innovation. 

Prior to joining Aster Hospitals, Dr Jayant was associated with Narayana Health and HealthCare Global (HCG) hospitals in Bangalore as a Consultant Radiation Oncologist.

Most recently, Dr Jayant established and led the department of Radiation Oncology at Aegle Cancer Hospital in the Republic of Mauritius, where he introduced and implemented high-precision radiotherapy on the island. 

He has actively engaged in and contributed to both clinical and laboratory-based research with several presentations at national and international conferences such as the American Society for Radiation oncology, the Association of Radiation Oncologists of India and the British Thoracic Oncology Group. He also completed a certificate course in the basics of palliative care organized by the Academy of Palliative Medicine, the Indian association of Palliative Medicine.
