Psycho - Oncology
Mr. Vijay C is a Psycho-Oncologist at Aster Whitefield Hospital, Bangalore. He specializes in providing compassionate psychological care to patients and caregivers dealing with cancer and other life-limiting chronic conditions. With a strong academic foundation and training in narrative therapy, counseling psychology and psycho-oncology, Mr. Vijay adopts an integrative, evidence-based approach to address emotional and psychosocial challenges that may arise during such times.
He has experience in helping patients manage distress, anxiety, depression, body image concerns, non-pharmacological management of certain physical symptoms such as pain, sleep & fatigue and post-treatment (long-term survivorship) & end of life care related issues.
