Dr. Jagannath Dixit is a renowned Surgical Oncologist. Presently he is working as a Senior Consultant Surgical Oncologist at Aster Hospitals, Bangalore. Dr. Jagannath Dixit earned his MBBS from the prestigious Kidwai Memorial Institute of Oncology Cancer Research and Training Centre. Following that, in 1995 he obtained his MS from the Kempegowda Institute of Medical Sciences (KIMS) and later pursued his M.Ch. in 2000 at the same institution.

Dr. Dixit's commitment to surgical excellence and patient-centric care is evident through his additional credentials, including FIAGES (Fellow of the Indian Association of Gastrointestinal Endo Surgeons), FICS (Fellow of the International College of Surgeons), and FMAS (Fellowship in Minimal Access Surgery). Dr. Jagannath Dixit embarked on his medical journey in 2001 with a PB Desai fellowship at Tata Memorial Hospital in Mumbai. Following this, he served as a consultant at Malanad Hospital and Institute of Oncology in Shivamogga, Karnataka, from 2003 to 2007. Dr. Dixit's career then progressed to a faculty position at Vydehi Medical College and Research Centre in Bengaluru, concurrently consulting at BGS Global (Glen Eagle) Hospital in Bengaluru until 2011. Since 2011, he has been a Senior Consultant at HCG Hospitals in Bengaluru, showcasing unwavering dedication to the field.

Dr. Dixit's commitment to continuous improvement is evident through international training stints in Laparoscopic and Robotic surgery (Seoul, 2014), Robotic surgery certification (Seoul, 2014), International training at Kyungpok National Medical Centre (Seoul, 2016) and Thoracic Oncology training in VATS and Robotic surgery at Shanghai Chest Hospital (2017). His pursuit of excellence continued with HIPEC training at the National Cancer Institute in Milan, France (2017), and Laparoscopic and Robotic training in Upper GI cancer at the National Cancer Centre in Japan in 2019.

Dr. Dixit has an impressive record, having successfully completed over 450 robotic surgeries and more than 100 laparoscopic surgeries for upper and lower gastrointestinal tract complications. Recognized for his meticulous attention to detail, accurate diagnoses, and compassionate patient care, he has adeptly handled numerous complex medical cases.
