The Department of Surgical Oncology at Aster International Institute of Oncology offers a wide range of world-class outpatient and inpatient services which includes diagnostic screenings for cancer treatment and follow-up care for patients. This specialized division identifies the cause and the grade of cancer and provides personalized care to all patients suffering from malignant and benign tumours and other cancer-related symptoms.
Our surgical oncologists work as a part of a multidisciplinary team, that works closely with other specialists like radiologists, pathologists, medical oncologists, radiation oncologists, Nuclear medicine, plastic and reconstructive surgeons, cancer care nurses, psychologists, nutritionists and physiotherapists to provide best outcomes for our patients and anticipate and manage any side effects of the surgery.
